We're a small bunch of gamers who decided to stop wishing and start building.
In strategy games we always wondered what it would be like to be one of the army, not just the commander. So we made a game about it.
Dawn to Dominion started in November 2024 at Global Dynamics, part of the CTG Networks group. In 2026 it got a studio of its own.
Ants carry many times their own weight. We figured we'd try the same.

From the first spark to the stars
Start with a stone tool. End up farming asteroids and chasing pirates off your base on Jupiter.
A survival and civilisation game in first or third person, set in an open world modelled on our solar system. Your tribe climbs through 25 tiers. You level up by playing. Your mind grows through study.

Survive
Dig anywhere, build bases with real physics, tame around 20 animals and craft gear in five quality grades.

Civilise
Lead a tribe through the ages. Hand a villager a tool and they'll mine or harvest for you. Build vehicles part by part, from wagons to tanks.

Reach space
Space begins at tier 16. Asteroid farming, pirates and a base on Jupiter wait at the end of the climb.
Where we are
The core game works. Next comes the long climb through the tiers, plus animation and multiplayer testing with lots of players.
Development begins within Global Dynamics.
Diabolic Ant Studios gets its name. Tiers 1 to 6 are built.

We're one of the CTG Networks companies in Potchefstroom. Their motto is Mutare Ludum, "change the game". Fitting.
